For the treatment and prevention of infection in cuts, wounds abrasions, surgical incisions and burns. For the treatment of decubitus or stasis ulcers, advance chronic wounds etc and infected traumatic lesions.
Dressing products for wounds/burns/ulcers
The affected areas should be cleaned with normal saline and/or surgically if necessary till the wound bed looks red/few bleeding points appear in the cleaned wound bed. Ointment should be applied liberally. The areas may be covered with a moist dressing and/or a bandage. Ointment may be use as often as required, preferably at an interval of 24, 48, 72 hrs
Not to be used in known cases of hypersensitivity to the amino acid. No other known contraindications are known for the essential amino acid.
No allergic sensitivity or toxic reactions have been noted in the recorded clinical investigations.
