and Mouth Disease
• For disease control by routine vaccination in endemic area
• For limiting the spread of the disease during outbreak.
Regardless of the age and weight of the animal, refer to the label on the container according to the following schedule. Cattle, Buffaloes & Calves: 2 ml Goat & sheep: 1 ml Primary vaccination: 3 to 4 months of age and onwards Booster: 1-1.5 month after primary vaccination Revaccination: Every 6 months after booster and every 4 months in endemic areas like Bangladesh. Or as directed by the registered Veterinarian. Route and methods of administration
The vaccine vial should be kept between +2 0C and +8 0C temperature until used and each vial should be
thoroughly shaken before use. Syringes and needles must be sterilized before use. The vaccine should be
injected intramuscularly in the middle or deep gluteal muscle.
FMD vaccine is not recommended for the animals that are clinically sick or severely debilitated or under stress.
There is no contraindication of the vaccine for pregnant animals.
